Set within the elemental landscape of Siwa, We invite residents to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and draw inspiration from the natural world. Guided by nature’s rhythms, artists are encouraged to explore their work with openness, grace, and a deeper sense of connection.

Located in the secluded oasis of Siwa, Egypt
where sand dunes meet palm groves and ancient springs, this residency offers artists a space for grounding, contemplation, and peacefulness.

Guided by the land’s natural rhythms, the stillness of Siwa invites deep creative connection. Each artist’s journey is unique. Our program follows a gentle rhythm, offering spacious time for personal creative work alongside opportunities to engage with Siwa’s environment, culture, and community. Through workshops with local artisans, collaborative outdoor projects, and quiet moments in nature, artists are invited to explore new influences and weave them into their practice.

Residency & Retreats

Our sanctuary shaped by the slow rhythms of the
desert, invites artists to deepen their practice in presence, communion with nature, and devotion to their creative spirit.

We offer up to a month-long residency for artists who wish to engage deeply with their creative practice. We provide space to develop or continue a body of work in a nurturing environment. With both solitude and shared moments, it is designed for those seeking a slower pace, rest as well as creation, and meaningful connection with the land, the natural world, and the local community.

The residency is designed to remain financially accessible, with contributions kept minimal to help sustain the space. Because Irane Gagben is newly launching and lovingly self-funded, your support helps cover accommodation, access to shared workspaces, and the care of our small local team as we tend to the land and keep this sanctuary alive.

Each stay is shaped through a shared conversation, ensuring the environment supports your creative process with presence and ease. Residents are responsible for their own travel, food, and any additional activities they wish to join.
